A bunch of high school seniors are going on their senior year trip to Paris, and on the plane, our main character has a vision right before the plane takes off, that the plane is going to explode, he panics, and causes a fight between some of the passengers on the plane. I enjoyed the kills and the effects with them (granted this movie came out 20 years ago so they weren't amazing but.) But then again the characters were my big struggle and they were basically just in the movie to get killed by some win practically. There is one slight shot of nudity on the cover of a magazine, that the main character, Alex is reading, but just watch past it. There was lots including decapitation, strangled to death, and deaths via cars and busses. Most of them weren't that bad but just not the best part of the movie for sure. Pretty decent, my biggest struggle with this movie was the characters. My rating 12+ for strong language, gore and violence. A unique film (or was unique before the 4 sequels) with a great plot.
About as good as teen horror gets (not counting scream). This shows a woman with her breast prominently shown. We see the cover of a penthouse magazine as well as one shot of the inside. A few uses of sh*t and more mild language like damn etc. There is a stabbing, a hanging and a scene where a teenagers head gets chopped in half.
In the initial plane crash, there is sight of skin being burnt away as well as people falling out of the plane and more. I am pleasantly surprised to say that I loved this movie! The story works and has a driving force to it. This film is leagues ahead of other teen horror franchises like SAW (which I hate) and Slender Man. However really it’s just teen horror doing teen horror things. I think that final destination works as a horror and thriller and a drama.
